Battlefield 2: Complete Collection now on Steam...

Post by Silence »

...for 20 euros.

SOOOO MUCH CHEAPER THAN IN THE EA STORE.

Folks, if you have friends, who don't have BF2 already tell them now!

Battlefield 2: Complete Collection on Steam

And I bought it for 50 euros in the EA Store... oh well!

I hate steam, always seems to bugger up when I want to play, or takes ages to download stuff

But I do love the ingame interface, would be cool to have it on bf2.

Wonder how mod compatibility will be. I guess it won't be long until we get the first feedback from people trying to install PR on Steam BF2.

I've seen at most stores bf2 being sold for $10. And at a price of $30, 1.5 patch+EF+AF=Free, then Special forces expansion pack is $20?

Correct, most stores now sell BF2 for $10 USD, I bet you could find it even cheaper on eBay.

Nice. That EA downloader was just one big pile of fail, Steam is the way to go.

Last time I tried using Steam's in-game menu with PR, PB kicked me for using an unallowed program/driver. It's really a matter if PB updated their stuff to allow it, but I'm pretty sure there are other games in Steam that don't actually have support for their in-game menu.

I think this is good news... so Bad Company 2 will probably release on steam, and maybe any future DICE games...

I wish they will release a Battlefield Complete package on steam..

80$ for:

BF1942
BF1942: Road to Rome
BFVietnam
BF2
BF2: Special Forces
BF2142
BF2142: Northern Strike

I'd buy it to have them all avaliable on steam in case I ever wanted to play them old ones again.. plus it would give me 2142 so I can check how the star wars mod is doing :)

I'm just surprised how long this game lasted. I got it when it first came out stopped playing for 2 years then came back.

The complete collection is like £4 of Amazon.co.uk.

I'd advise Europeans to buy it from their aswell.

Many source mods are supported by STEAM. Maybe can PR be too ?

This is a very good question, perhaps one of the higherups should look into this! (Not just devs I bet :P )

Also, any word on if PR works with the steam version yet?
Players might be hardcoded, but that sure doesn't seem to stop anybody from trying.

No, No it doesn't :-( Get the "please launch Project Reality through pr.exe and not bf2.exe" error.
