Tickets

Post by Hoboknighter »

So, we all know that the game has been about tickets. But since this is project Reality, what do tickets actually represent? It's definitely more than just a simple ticket. Real soldiers don't go around saying "Woohoo, I just killed 4 people, I got 4 tickets!"
"What the $!$@'s a ticket?"

Personally I think it's the morale of the army to fight, but that's just me.

It simulates the number of reinforcements available to your team. Nothing more, nothing less.

Then what determines how many reinforcements a team should have?

gameplay

the tickets are just a way to simulate more than 64 people on the map, and a convenient way of having a map length that is finite, but not necessarily decided by a timer.

As well as being a indicator of how well your team is doing.

Without tickets the game would go on for 3 hours odd  I know I dont want to play that long on one map, dunno about you.

from what i can tell tickets on AAS = balance, on insurency = in any given region in iraq or afghanistan there are unlimited number of people willing to give there life to fight western forces, and they all have guns to hand, seen lots of vids on liveleak, ieds, efps, rgk3s,rpg's never seen a molatov.

while im at it, watched a nice documetry on the challenger 2, one threw a track and got got imbolbilized during the intial stages of operation iraqi freedom, took 7 rpg hits and 1 milan anti tank missle, the crew inside heard the rpgs bounce off the chobum2 armour, the milan AT missle made a wire spark inside the crew compartment.

this. Makes it so the game isnt really 32v32 bot 400v400 (or what ever the tickets is).
