[problem] Crashes, memory alloc fail, graphics texture mess, random ctd etc

Hi there.
First up cheers for this mod, I couldnt stand the original bf2 with its; little teamwork, constant artillery, aircraft owning etc.
Ive only played a few games in proper play, spent most time in training so far.
Im having some often problems(happening almost every play, say 70% of the time)
:
Heres my rig: (laptop, probably 6months old)
-Operating System: Windows Vistaâ„¢ Home Premium (6.0, Build 6001) Service Pack 1 (6001.vistasp1_gdr.090805-0102) 32bit
-System Manufacturer: TOSHIBA
-System Model: Satellite A350
-Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU P7450 @ 2.13GHz (2 CPUs), ~2.1GHz
-Memory: 3066MB RAM (4gb installed)
-Display Card name: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3650 (512mb im pretty sure)
-im running as administrator from limited user account
-windows xp compatibility and disable visual styles? are checked in the bf2.exe and pr.exe (still needed after 1.5??) Originally I didnt have these checked after installing 1.5 and pr, but thought it might make a difference but to no avail.
-Im pretty sure firewall has allow exceptions

Problems:
1 Memory allocation failure error CTD, Most often when loading at 14%Objects, AFTER server has switched maps (possibly its not clearing the previous map from memory?). Otherwise happens randomly anywhere ingame.
2 Random instant ctd, no error message/beep at all, Most oftenly happening after pressing a function for eg; while scoping in, switching guns, entering vehicle etc. It also can happen at any time it chooses.
3 Graphics/texture problem This is weird hard to explain what it looks like, kind of black and white flickery textures applied to objects, almost looking like aliasing:

I can still see object silhouet.
Consistently occurs just as entering map (after spawn, not before spawn) slowly the objects one-by-one return to normal textures (doesnt all return at the same time).
Also occurs randomly, example I was flying a helicopter then every texture turns to that and I end up in a hill

Memory problem is probably because of textures on high, and possibly that also causes the graphics prob.
