0.87 performance issues

Since upgrading to .87 I experiance a massive performance decrease perodically on any server, level, or in any situation. I could be standing waiting for a heli to spawn or in the middle of a fight my framerate will go from 30-45 to <5 for a duration no greater than 30 seconds.

I have checked my anti virus to be sure it is not scanning, adjusted video settings, ran defrags, increased my virtual memory as recommended in one of the threads to 1.5x my total RAM, insured my network/internet is running smoothly, and updated my drivers. The problem persists .

My video settings are medium low with no AA, View 100%. Lowering them had no impact on the issue.

My PC is a bit outdated but I never had a problem in .85 and .86.

Win XP media SP 3
P4 3.00 ghz HT
2.5 gb RAM
nVidia Geforce 6800 512 mb

you can stop your antivirus when you play (he using alot of RAM too)
and if you use your task manger you can stop some programs who eating your RAM like
wmpnetwk.exe(windows media player network sharing,he is not important )
thats help for me
check othe "exe" in google to see what do you need and what not

My anti virus isn't causing the problem, I uninstalled it entirely to try it and the problem still occurs. Also my memory usage isn't the problem as I see it because when pr is running its the only thing over 10,000 K memory usage with about 40 processes running.

attached is a screenshot of my task manager, which is the usual work load with the exception of IE.

So I figured out that my XP SP3 was corrupt AND the fan on my GPU died haha
