Hi there,

im trying to install project reality on my friends PC and hes got vista,

currently im taking my downloaded PR files (core and levels) around to his house on a penstick and copying them onto his cpu and trying to run them from there

but this is where the problem is, every time i double click the core.exe nothing happens, task manager doesn't even register it as a loading process, but it does sometimes completely crash and freeze the computer

the computer is dual core, has a good gfx card and plenty of ram so its not the cpu spec, im wondering if there is a C++ for vista or something which may be the problem?

any ideas will be appreciated,

Run installer as Admin(Vista)

It took me (AMD 4800x2+ 2 gigs ram) a little over 10 min. to see the install window open for Core and a little over 5 for levels. If it still doesn't work try a new download.
