A tip

Post by element365 »

One strategy that I've been using lately is taking the other team's guns shen I kill an enemy. I know that the sounds for the sniper rifles are very distinct, so if I'm playing a map such as Steel Thunder as American and I hear the American sniper rifle, I will usually disregard it and not even look in that direction. If you are playing as China, just kill a sniper and take his gun. If there are a lot of people around, you can just sit far away picking them off and they won't even realize it. Just thought I'd share :P

What I learnt from my 'BfV Op Irving Loading screen History lesson' is that these tactics were employed by US Soldiers in Nam and caused a lot of RLtking

Good Idea though, I have pretty much learnt all weapon sounds by heart so
yea I would not pursue the sound of a friendly sniper.

But then you catch your team of guard too. They'll hear the SVD or w/e and think "Ahh an enemy" and then try to shoot you :D

But in PRMM you don't TK because of the big blue mark over teammates. Maybe these marks should be removed and TK'ing should be forgiven if the TK'ed fellow had an enemy weapon?

Tip: Stop to shoot. Contrary to what you see in the movies, when you walk and shoot, even if you got your iron sights up, you still wont hit jack.

hmmm bs, SF atleast practice this all the time. If your shooting at someone and your being the offensive you better get to where your going... and shooting a couple of guys are part of the job. If you stay in one spot one of the adversaries will pick you off everytime... you should try this in simunitions training... that will put hair on your chest.... GAME ON!

So true, yesturday when I was in the TC server i was crawling around in the grass because there were a few enemies about and I heard a SAW (i was china) and i nearly knifed rhino who was on the same team.

Ok so now that, that pretty pointless story was told, I think its a good idea but it has its negatives.
