Voip options type problem

I go to options and check the enable VOIP box and the settings never stay, The enable VOIP box never stays checked

try doing it on bf2.exe if it works then load up pr.exe and it should be still enabled.

It doesn't stay on Bf2 either... so whats up?

Reinstall bf2 and try again

Running as Admin right?

You can edit the audio file too, just go to your BF2 profile.
Path:
C:\Users\your user name here\Documents\Battlefield 2\Profiles\0001\Audio

Mine looks like this ( red just for emphasis):

Make sure AudioSettings.setVoipEnabled reads 1 and not 0
to turn voip 'on'

Perhaps your audio file somehow got saved as 'read only'?

PS IF you have more than 1 folder, say 001,002 and 003. It's a good bet the highest one is your current one.

Okay so i went into the file you said and my enable number was already set to one
