Forgotten Fire Fight Laws

Post by cocobutter333 »

1. Once you have killed an enemy do not run over thier body, the downed enemy will see that you are over him and alert his sqauud

1b. do not also be tempted to run and grab the enemy kit as well putting yourself in fanger "1" will also apply

2. Don't get into the habbit of constantly reloading (this is COD) try using the 5 shot count rule

3. do NOT give up until the medic or SL says so, also if possible dont call out "MEDIC", use voip as it will stop the enemy knowing your medic is reviving

4. try not to be so predictable, on most maps you can tell where the enemy will be and where they will come from, take the long way round, its worth it

more welcome...

5. F***ing suppress! If you know an enemy is behind cover but can't see him keep shooting - if you're shooting at him he won't be able to shoot back.

6. Try and tell your squad exactly where the enemy is using the bearings and landmarks.

It is unbelievable how a lot of players don't use that or just don't simply think about this (especially when medic tries to revive his buddy).

This has to be a golden rule lol.

9. Temperance is your closest friend, impatience your nemesis.
The best victory is when the opponent surrenders of its own accord before there are any actual hostilities... It is best to win without fighting.

11. RUN RUN RUN! If you are in bad position, change it, even if you have to run towards the fire for a moment, staying put gets you killed faster.

12. Suppressed an enemy? MOVE! Get another POV so he wonders where are you as you apply rule number 7 to take a precise "wtf happened?" headshot.

13. Long range firefights? Gain fire superiority! Use them nades and nade launchers! And remember, if you really judge necessary to use it, remember you won`t use your AT4 at a light armor or truck if you die right there right now. Sure don`t anticipate that much but rockets have a HUGE psycological effect against enemies (so do GLs) and suppressive effect. You may be useful to push-back

14. (Still not tested by me) Got in a firefight of which you have a chance of winning? Don`t fall back to fight another day, get fire supperiority, suppress, MOVE! Pop smoke! Get in grenade-toss distance! But remember - they also have nades...
Guys, when a new player comes, just answer his question and go on your merry way, instead of going berserk! It's THAT simple! :D

15. Take them by their Nose and kick them by their ***!

16. Act if you're falling back (Scream "Falling Back") and let one guy obvious retreat. And shoot the enemy then.

17. Act that you've to reload (Scream "Reloading") and let them stand up, after that you shoot them.

19. When on mumble and killed all the other enemies, say on squad VOIP "Ok squad, let's go East" and on mumble say "Squad, go back West to where we were before".

Maybe you're not talking about what I am but if you are...I very much disagree. I was once the last guy alive in my squad in a firefight with multiple insurgents in the basement of the Hospital on Fallujah. I was trading shots with maybe 4-5 insurgents. I was outnumbered, outgunned, and running low on ammo. Instead of charging forward and taking on a force 4 to 5 times bigger than me, I chose to fall back and save a ticket. This should always be the policy when you're an American on insurgency.

Yes that is what I mean :)

If you are outnumbered, outgunned and out everything fall back, regroup, and stryke! Flank with the full squad while another one suppresses!

Rambo is too unrealistic for PR.
