Personal Security Malware on Dad's System

Ok guys I dont know what my dad has system wise, he uses an old Dell Win Xp
He somehow got infected with this
Remove Personal Security (Uninstall Guide)
It only affects Internet Explorer
He has Mozilla Firefox, Safari, and Google Chrome
Why does he have so many browsers?
I couldn't tell you, it makes no sense to me in the slightest!
But he won't budge on the idea of using another browser no matter how vulnerable Internet explorer is.
Could you help a fellow out? I went through his registries, his folders and I got rid of anything that said psecurity or Personal Security. I dont know how to play with MD5s, but it still is effin with his internet explorer.

Try Spybot Search and Destroy

and use ccleaner on old registries. get "hijackthis"
