APC Kit Request Disable/Delay for Players with Crewman Kit

Is it possible to delay or remove kit request for players who have already been allocated with crewman kit from APCs. Its annoying when you for example unmobilize the enemy APC. Then crewmen bail out from unmobilized APC and instantly request infantry/anti-tank kits. I see this as an exploit.

So solution for this is to delay crewman kit users ability to request kits from APC when they've just bailed out of their APC or disable it.

how about just delay request from apc's all together

Yeah why not. I'll support. :razz: I just think the worst exploit is that crewmen can instantly transform to antitank or infantry squad when they bail.

I don't see this as a real problem or a trend.
Most of the time the thing that killed that APC will easily finish up the drivers.
If 3 persons are needed in squad to request a kit again it will be even less important.

I agree, I also don't see this happening alot, good Crewman tend to either only bail as a last resort/if they do Bail enjoy trying to fight their way back using only CrewMan kits/defend their downed vehicle for as logn as possible with their MP5s or w.e :D

I don't see any problem with it. Having spare armory in an APC is not so unlogical. Plus crewman gun is already very effective. Personally i wouldn't change it if i can get out :)

I'd like the solution, since crewmen can easily "repair" immobilized vehicles by abusing an exploit which is only doable when they are allowed to request kits. (I wont go into detail here)

yeh like we 1 (bradley) had a fight against 2 tanks and a bmp today. 1 tank down from hit in the turret with tow, 2nd one the same, 1 tow rocket left. 12ap rounds left, we hit the bmp in the front he just begun to smoke a little then we fired those few ap rounds we had left but didint manage to finish up bmp but the crew of it bailed out, we went to look for em and the guy had a hat kit already - from where? the damn apc. we got killed. how annoying is it huh? Some kits should be not available from apcs. I guess only kits like pilot, crewman, officer, grenadier and marksman could be requestable.

For me this exploit happened twice today.

First in Kozelsk I shot Russian BTR with LAT. It started smoking crew bailed out. Then I went to check survivors and to finish off the smoking APC. There was two guys one with officer and another one with PKM. Luckily managed to take them off, but it could have easily been ended the other way if they would have spotted me first.

Another one happened in Fools Road. I shot BTR with static anti-tank gun it started smoking 2 guys bails out. APC drove so I couldn't finish it with AT-gun. I still tried to snipe them randomly with HE shells. Some moments later I got shot by probably one of the crewman took marksman or sniper and run to woods and finished me off from distance.

I can't believe im the only one experiencing this exploit or then im just really lucky person.
Even if this is very rare it is still exploit which can(will) be used and so it should be fixed IMO. :!:

Tip: DON'T CHECK FOR SURVIVORS!

They may be supporting Infantry, another APC, anything - you got a confirmed hit that's all that matters, even staying in the same spot and scouting them with Binocs is risky - also where was the rest of your squad? A squad should have no trouble taking out two guys.

Once you've made a hit, leg it before Hell drops on you.

In Kozelsk we were two man FOB building squad in Hill 165 and building defensive structures when the APC arrived. Me with LAT(AK) and my friend as CE(SKS). Friend stayed at FOB since his inferior weapon and I checked the survivors.

In Fools Road we were again two man squad this time with static AT-GUN. I was as AT-gun operator with CE(SKS) and my friend as ANTI-TANK(scorpion).

These both are of course subjective examples by me. But that doesnt change the fact stated in opening post. you can exploit the way I explained.

your not the only one who feels the madness.. I think others just dont take/dont fight against apcs so they never care...

sure, if you shoot an apc fatally, and a squad jumps our and starts shooting at you...ok

Would 2 crewmen be able to fulfill the role of MG/AT etc at a pinch? I don't actually know.

Isn't the idea of being able to request kits from the APCs simulating the fact that they carry AT/other weapons/ammo in reality?

If so, is it that much of a stretch that they grab one of these weapons from the back when they bail from a badly damaged vehicle? Not sure to what extent a HAT would need specilaist training, but certainly a LAT would be viable I would have though, after all the AT4 has instructions on it.

Bradley, Stryker and M113 crews are MOS 11B infantrymen (or 11C mortar gunners, combat engineers or cavalry scouts, depending on the unit they equip) with training to operate and maintain the vehicles. As a pre-requisite, Marine LAV crewmen are also required to pass the rifleman (MOS 0311) course. Both services learn the SAW and AT4/LAW as part of that MOS.

As for dedicated operator anti-tank weapons and MMGs, it depends on the service; the Marines have full time MOS for those, but in the Army they are 11B infantrymen who get assigned to the position and qualify on the weapon. But everybody in a line unit has likely at the very least "fam-fired," probably several times, the M240, even if they aren't assigned to carry one. Javelin is issued at different levels depending on the unit type (Marines, Stryker, Bradley and light infantry), so that's "iffier."

Engine is burning, so the stuff inside the armor. You wont jump in the burning house to get your TV would you? LAT might be okay, but please, not the hat from the apcs..
