Problems with AVG on Windows XP

try going into the advanced settings under tools and add the path to game to resident shield exclusions, also check the full screen gaming mode box and see if that helps. You can also temporarily disable resident shield by 5 10 or 15 minute periods. After the temp disable I can play for hours with AVG on and not get the heartbeats stopped message .
