Need major help!!!

Hey guys. I'm fairly new to the game / forums. I have indeed tried project reality before, but I had a problem where if i joined a match, 3 mins into it PR would crash. This was what ultimatly discouraged me from playing it. Well, a few days ago i thought id give it another try. Now, i have the patch, core, and lvls installed, the only thing thats keeping me from playing is the fact that i cant successfully install Microsoft .NET 3.5, and im afraid to play w/o that installed because it says i need it in order to play. Now ive had the same problem last time i had PR installed, and im pretty sure thats what was causing it to crash. When ever i try to install this, it gets about half way through the installation when it'll say that its stopped because it encountered an error. When i check the error logs, it keeps saying i had an "eror 1603". I've done some research, and i believe that i need to delete Microsoft .NET 2.0, but when i go to do this, it says that it cant. I've tried getting a utility cleaner, and it said that it successfully cleaned out Microsoft .NET 2.0, but when i restart my computer, its still there. Im absolutely clueless as to what i need to do, and i really need help. I really want to play this game with out any problems. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Have you tried error checking your hard drive, how have you tried to download the net frame work as a file or through the sdk web tool
