I recently got BF2 via steam, so i went straight to PR and started downloading (udpated to v1.5 first) i installed it fine but when ever i run it even when clicking on pr.exe it still tells me to update my shortcuts, I am thinking that because steam runs strange it might be getting confused and always running bf2.exe.....so i am going mental because it took hours to download any idea's PR support team? .ps PR rocks played it at a mates

Operating system = XP, Vista etc.
systems specks = cpu/speed, ram installed, video card/video ram on card
network setup = cable, 4 port 10/100/1000 d- link gamers lounge/ wired connection.
And a brief history before and after problem started.
Please describe when your CTD or problem hits and
what you have already tried.
The more info you can give the better your chance of getting a quick answer back. You don't have to write a book, but your basic PC info is needed to help you.
