ieds and weapon cache

This little incident happened on one of the insurgent maps. My son had placed an ied at the bottom of the building our wepaon cache was on, the cache was on the roof, as was i, well a bunch of americans pulled up at base of building to take the cache, my son detonaetd ied, and the weaponcache blew up, i deid and he got banned for 5 min, shouldnt of happened considirng the cache was 3 floors up on the roof, so i assume the building does little to restrict the blast range of the ied.
