Problems with PR V.9

So i preloaded .9, now i know i cant actually install it because of the password until friday but I opened the file to test is because i've had problems with opening past patches, it takes about 5-10 mins for them to open on vista. So when i try to open .9 is does the same and after about 7 mins when it finally opens my screen goes completely black and i have to use the power button to restart. Is this the password protection? it goes black so you cant install, or is it a problem im going to need to fix?

No you should get an install window with a link directing you to the password web page when you click on it.
What are the sizes of your installers?
Mine are part 1 = 1,822,841 KB
part 2 = 1,673,741KB

hey guys.........i have the same problem a little bit different..................my screen doesnt turn black.....but the whole free space on my harddisk was gone and and error message appeared that i have not enough free space on harddisk....but at least there are more than 11gb free before i start the installer!!

any idea?? thanks

Run disk cleaner and defrag HD.

I have a similar problem, i also have Vista and am trying to open the first file which i preloaded, funny thing is i've been waiting well over 30 minutes now with nothing but a loading icon next to my mouse, the installer seems to refuse to open, any ideas?

then i tried again and the same happened,wtf?

You need to try to copy the files again. The ones you have are CORRUPT.

Hi guys, i'm getting the same problem but i got part 1 to install but now part 2 just says corrupted and obtain a new copy i've done that and everything you guys have said to do on this thread but still no joy HELP!!!!! please
