Deployable garbage for insurgents

Post by boilerrat »

1. Is it worth it?

Yes, it would take very little time to do. But still giving much positives to the insurgent factions.

Tali / Insurgent / Hamas

2. Has it already been suggested?

No

3. Is it already in-game?

There is garbage in the maps, but not placed by players.

4. Does it fit with the Main Aim of the Project Reality mod?

Yes, its not unrealistic... in many places around the world there isn't a garbage pick-up service... so there is garbage all over the streets.

So its possible these factions could use that to their advantage to hide bombs.

Other notes

It would be placed by any insurgent faction with IEDs, no need to be squad leader.

Max of 2?

People hide IEDs in garbage on the maps already... its been that way for many patches.

This wouldn't change much really for bluefor.

They would just have to think a bit more.

Not very evident what you're suggesting; deployable garbage, yes, but for what purpose?

If it covers IEDs, there's ways in game to already hide them, so it seems a little redundant to make an entire new deployable static for something that has another means to be achieved...

For putting IEDs and mines under... since we can't bury them.

You make it sound like its a huge deal that would take days.

anyway, it will be almost useless imo, since all those trash will look exactly same and just scream "might be IED under me"
current IEDs are pretty small and you can hide it in surrounding environment
