Got couple of questions...

OK I got some questions:
First,What do they mean if they say enemy at 300( three-zero-zero) because 1 sq member told that to me?
Second, What kind of a bug is that squad bug and you mustn't create a squad before 1:30, because I got banned because of this just because I forgot to wait?
Finally,WTF is ALAH AKBAR, many guys on insurgency say ALAH AKBAAAAAAR in the beggining?

300 degrees, there is a compass with degree markers at the bottom of your screen. shows you directions from where you are.


squad bug thing is a myth as far as i know, play by the servers rules though.

First of all i would suggest you read through the manual, it is kind fo boring but you will be a much better player afterwards

1) if you check you compass bottom center of your screen you will see that there is degrees as to where you are looking, so he saw a enemy at 300 degrees, then you just check your compass and look in the same direction

2) some servers have a problem with people making a squad before 1:30 until game start, this renders all other players unable to make squads on your team, and server must be restarted, and is not a myth, it just doesn't happen every time someone does it

3) Allah uh ahkbar(probably not right spelling) is arabic for God is great

There is a cumpas at the bottom of your screen. 300 means 300 degrees on that cumpass.

The most common cause is making a squad before the server starts the timer.

That is usually what causes the squad bug, but I can see how some servers want all people to have a chance to get assets, 1:30 ensures nearly everyone has finished loading.

I am fine with the rule for those reasons but masking I behind false knowlage of what causes the squad bug leads to confusion and alot of pointless arguing when people claim to know something to be fact when it isn't.

Just a quick note:
The manual is a basic guide on how a few vehicles work. There are still a lot of vehicles unexplained; tanks cant go through water for example or not all APCs are amphibious (wich I learned the hard way). So you will have to learn a lot by own experience.

Dont forget 300 degrees at a compas for a teammate is not the same as 300 degrees for you. It depends on where you teammate is standing so you will have to approximate your own compas.

can you like not re-arm flares on yamalia or crates with the helis
i can never seem to re-arm my flares or crates do i have to put it exactly in the right place?

There's a dedicated landing zone for the helos, on the russian side there's a wooden makeshift tower (more like a hut) with a red vane. I don't know exactly for CF, but there has to be a similar zone.

Squad bug is not caused by making a squad before 1:30, unless you make it when the countdown hasn't started yet.

The 1:30 rule is for the squad asset name rule on specific servers.

not got a screenshot but for the canadians on yamila [sp] the re-arm area is basically the big bit of grass where the choppers spawn, remember though the 2 crates do take a while to reload and also the falres only reload up to 30, so if you have 36 flares they won't reload up to 60 again.


as for the 1:30 thing, it is a misconception that it causes the squadbug, now that i have a better PC i do load in before the server has 'started' and have created squads within 2 seconds of the timer starting with no after effect

Oh i remembered of sth else when i saw that question about flares, is it a bug that the Chinook can't rearm all of his flares or it is something with BF2 engine ( chinook has 60 flares and reloads only 30)

No, I don't believe that's right.

The Chinook should have 30 flares, like all the other helicopters and planes.

HAHA good questions my good chump lol ... jk okay ... 300 is a direction you see at the bottom of you screen in white ( AKA COMPASS )
squad bug is when ( no one can create a squad ) and the server dies if it has rules that you HAVE to join a squad. hopfully you will never see this
and Allah akbar is like a mid eastern god or somthing.. one of the reasons why suiside bombers think theywill get 30 virgins in heaven .. i duno

TNX but try to see that it writes 30 flares on the chinook and then press x and you will see 54 and after you use all u can reload only 30!
