Stun Granades a.k.a Flashbangs
I thought I may find tens of hardcore threads on that but I couldn't. And I'm pretty sure there are no such thing for at least last two versions. And again I'm pretty sure there is a decent reason for it but what?
Can someone tell me?

while flashbang are already existent in the bf2 special forces addon (along with gasmasks and gas), i've been told that regular army units don't usually carry this kind of equipment
but i agree that this would be fun in insurgency maps

Would be cool for the Rifleman AP or something. Maybe in lieu of frag grenades for Rifleman Spec.

Re: Stun Granades a.k.a Flashbangs
Flashbangs are more of a police thing since armies are not supposed to clear rooms while civis are inside.
Flashbangs are used when u need to get into a room, but u cant throw a frag grenate inside first, because of civilians or hostages or something like that. So as long as we dont get any Spec Ops with hostage rescue scenarios in PR we dont need Flashbangs.
IRL the room clearing practice done by the military I have witnessed was mostly done in 3 parts none of them included the use of flashbangs:
1.Stacking up next to the door
2.One guy kicking the door open
3.Everybody running in
Didnt look effective to me but i guess if there would be enemies inside that room they would use frags first, but thats just a guess

Maybe stun effect could be implemented to all big explosions going off nearby?

Question answered. Now lets not have this thread become a suggestion.wookimonsta wrote:while flashbang are already existent in the bf2 special forces addon (along with gasmasks and gas), i've been told that regular army units don't usually carry this kind of equipment
