Hello, everything was working fine yesterday, no changes made to my computer or BF2/PR, and today when I try to start PR, the dog tags show up, and then when the game should load it just goes to a black screen and stays on that indefinitely until I kill BF2.exe process.
BF2 vanilla runs fine.
Cheers.

Re: Black Screen freeze after starting PR
possibly corrupted profile files
delete "My Documents\Battlefield 2" folder - this will get rid of corrupted files but clear all custom settings though
else reinstall bf2 + pr (probably faster than waiting for another reply

Re: Black Screen freeze after starting PR
I already deleted that folder, and don't really want to try reinstalling - that is the most frustrating thing about this game/mod. Seems with any problem the solution is reinstall.
My BF2 vanilla works perfectly, can join games and do whatever, but PR will not run, and like I said everything was fine yesterday.

Re: Black Screen freeze after starting PR
I was playing iRacing prior to PR yesterday and left my Logitech Steering wheel plugged in, I think that may have been the culprit, as last night I tried it again several hours later (after unplugging the wheel after racing), PR worked.
Interesting that it was a problem with PR and not BF2, I did not have the wheel or any joysticks bound to any PR controls.
