Installation trouble

Ok, so i downloaded PR2 both part 1 and part 2 and i extracted it both and a Project Reality shortcut comes on my desktop but when i open it a small window with a dogtag that says Project Reality shows up. But then it says " pr.exe has stopped working " and the game window closes and game doesnt load. What should i do? I already tried reinstalling and even downloading the files again, but still i get the same message.

Also i have Bf2 version 1.5 installed

Have you tried uninstall BF2, deleting the registry files, reinstalling everything, only applying the 1.5 patch then installing PR?

You should check the support forum here - PR:BF2 Support - Project Reality Forums. (your post will probably be moved there)

Read through the stickies/common problems and see if that gets you down the right path.

Also please provide your system specs/OS/any error messages related. PR can be tricky to get working but i'm sure you're not the first with this type of problem.

did you download 1.4 patch? first and then 1.5 later

Please tell some basics about your setup? Like your operating system, BF2 install folder and the exact procedures you went thru when installing BF2 & PR?

If you are using vista try to right-click the shortcut and press "run as administrator"
