Please Help

Why does my computer CTD when I am landing a huey on the carrier.
This happens on Muttrah. Also sometimes when there is a lot of "action"
going on at docks, it will do this also.

GTX295/i7/12gigs
My computer screams, so I dont understand why...could it be sound problems?

In game textures set to 'HIGH'
Set the textures to medium.
I'm not sure why this makes a difference with high-end cards that can run games like Crysis on high quality settings with no problem at the same res,
but for some reason it can matter in Project Reality under Vista.

Try running in 'window' mode and see if you can get an error code next CTD.


Run PR in 'windowed' mode
If you still have problems
run PR in 'windowed' mode to see if any error messages come up
(instead of running in full screen, it runs in a 'window')
To do so
Right click on shortcut.
Choose properties from bottom of list.
Modify the text in your shortcut's 'target' window.

Change
+fullscreen 1
to
+fullscreen 0

( It should look like this:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\pr\pr.exe" start +fullscreen 0 )
Then Google or use 'search' on Project Reality web page for the error message you get.
