Crash when entering Humvee

Hi everyone,
I just reinstalled BF2, applied the 1.41 and 1.5 patch and installed the newly released PR 0.9. I started a local server in co-operative mode on the "Jabal Al Burj - Std" map and joined the US-Army forces.

However, everytime I try to enter the Humvee with the missile launcher on top (don't know the real name for it) at the western CP, the game crashes to desktop immediately. The same thing also happend on other maps when entering the same vehicle.

I'm running the game on an older system (laptop) on minimal settings in 800x600 resolution. (that's why I did not post this issue in the bugs section)
My specs are:

Mobile Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.06GHz
2 GB DDR-333 RAM
ATI MOBILITY RADEON 9600/9700 Series 128MB RAM
Onboard sound card

Does someone encounter the same problem or know what might cause it?

This is a know issue and is being worked on. Appearently it has something to do with ATI graphics cards and the TOW.

There is no fix right now as far as i know, you should stay away from those .
