Please post:
systems specs (MoBo, GFX, Audio, generally hardware)
network setup (router-model, direct connection, DSL, 36k-modem, how many clients)
And a brief history before and after problem started. (Did you change anything? new drivers, new Anti-Vir...)
what you mean by "connection problem". A game pause with a yellow message stating that there is a problem with your connection followed by a disconnect where you end up in the server browser?

Try with turining off the routers firewall for testing purposes (don't forget to reenable!).
Check the router's log for suspicious errors and warnings (e.g. DOS-Attack detected, connection lost).

Since when do you have this problem?
If it's ever since - try with updateing your BIOS.

Make sure noone else is using that connection when you are testing. (i.e. friend/room mate downloading torrents etc.)

Have you tried with setting the CPU affinity to one core only, yet?
