Friend's PR Stuck at loading Textures/Geometries all maps

Hi there.
I would like to ask for help.
My friend's PR always get stuck at the map load during loading Textures or Geometries.
He's even 30 mins and more and still nothing happened.
He played vBF2 and its fine.
But in any case that he is successful at loading and gets on the server.
PB Kicks him for the reason: pbheartbeats stopped.
Can anyone help provide a solution/s?

His specs:

AMD AM2 ATHLON X2 5200 2.7GHZ
1 Gb GEIL RAM DDR2 800Mhz
Palit Nvidia GeForce 8600GT 512Mb

as for pr getting stuck on loading:
It is neccessary to determine whether only the game or the whole PC freezed. Try ending BF2 by pressing Alt+F4, Alt-Tabbing or calling the task manager. If this does not work your PC is suffering file or hardware corruption.
If the PC froze and if the PC's red LED (HDD access indicator) is permanently on (no flickering) the hard drive or the system files might have taken damage, you should run "chkdsk c: /r" (scan and repair hard disk), in any case the HDD might be "dying".
