BF2 and PR problem

Ok well, I decided to try PR again so I installed BF2. But when I tried to play a few games of BF2 I noticed there were only two servers, both empty. So out of curiosity I turned off the "same version" and saw tons of servers, but when I try to install the 1.50 patch, it says I'm already running a new version. Reason I bring this up is because I think it's affecting my PR. I decided to ignore BF2 and go straight for PR after that, got it all installed and hopped on. But not a single server shows up on the list no matter how many times I click 'update list', there's no options or anything so I can't like change the "same version' to see if I just screwed up, I'm at a loss of what to do. :/

The 1.5 patch tells you you already have the latest version when you haven't installed the 1.41 patch first; I know the download sites typically say the 1.5 patch is for any version, but in reality you need to install 1.41 before 1.5 will install, otherwise it will lie to you and say you already have the latest version.

So I suspect if you install the 1.41 and THEN 1.5, you'll be good to go.
