Question about nicknames prefixes.

Post by alec89 »

Just wondering is there a way to make the prefix next to your nickname in game longer, like instead of the max 6 characters, make it like 10. I heard somewhere that it is possible but not specific. Thanks.

The problem with name changes is no one recognizes you anymore.

The benefit with prefixes is that you can add to your name without fully changing it.

No. It's hardcoded so you can't make it too long to fit onto all the screens and stuff.

Hmm, lemme see...

EDIT: Nope. I can increase the length of the prefix text field on the login screen so I can input more characters, but after login it gets truncated to the first 6 characters.

It was designed with clans in mind and most have 4 letters or less as their tags plus brackets etc...
