installer not working for 6th time :@

when i d/l the installers for 0.9 on xp a few weeks ago they were fine, but i've just upgraded my OS to Windows 7 Ultimate and whenever i try to install it always fails.

i've downloaded 0917 it from 3 different sources 3 times (not the torrent yet, takes too long) and it has always failed on the vehicles_client part. i then went back to my 0.9 installer and the first part worked fine, but then the 2nd part failed, firstly on beirut map, so i changed to try another part 2 and that failed aswell.

if its this much effort to install a game i don't know why i bother and im prob. just gunna give up if it carries on failing

specs:

windows 7 ultimate
intel core 2 duo 6400 2.13ghz
4x 512mb ddr2 ram
ati radeon x1600

Agreed.

They're really dropping the ball with support. Vista & W7's have these issues, not only is installing a pain, but running the game requires a special .exe you have to dig through the forums to find.

Cmon guys, everything else in the Mod is outstanding, this should be basic.

i tried d/l the installers on a diff. comp, and they've worked fine. turns out to have been my pc error all along.

i have w7 and had no problems with installer and dont run a special .exe.
