Since patch: extreme slow system

Hi guys,
as it seems, the installed 0.917 patch slows down my whole machine, extremely.
since i installed it, it takes more than an hour to shut down (!!!!) and around 3 minutes to load windows.
i suspect 0.91 cause i made a system recovery (to a time before i got 0.91 installed) and then i made some virus scans, deleted some worms i found. till then everything worked fine again. now, an hour ago, i installed 0.91 again and made a restart. PC didnt shut down. hate.
then i directly suspected 0.91 to cause this, cause other programs which couldve caused this have been deinstalled today.

what do?
