Disarming Explosives

Like you can disarm mines with the wrench, i think you should be able to disarm IEDs and C4s too, and maybe even Grenade Traps.
Maybe you can use the Wrench for that too, or make it possible to use knife or make a new weapon slot Wire-Cutter.

I know C4s and IEDs are player controlled, but sometimes they dont pay attention and sometimes they go for bigger targets. At this way, it can be more danger about IEDs, and more tactical gameplay when it counts to clearing away enviroment and for possible ambushes.

I know it would be easiest with the wrench, and its kind off waste of time modelling a wire-cutter, maybe just make it able to disarm with knife.

Was playing Gaza Beach yesterday and i was on the IDF side, later in the game i came across a mine, i was thinking to myself "DUH, wish i was an engie right now" , so now i ask myself, why not give one specific kit besides the engie a disarm tool.

I was thinking maybe give a Thermite granade (im fairly sure i invented it right now if it doesent exist in real life xD), my idea was to give that to the Rifleman Specialist . . . cause his a SPECIALIST after all =P

Just my small idea here =P

There definately need to be a disarm tool in a more common kit.

and grenade traps definately need to be disarmable/destructable

I definatelly agree with giving a rifleman specialist some extra toys to play around :) like wire cutters I think engineers should get a robot and specialists wire cutters>

Yup. Everything should be disarmable or destroyable in a controlled explosion.

hah like the PRbot it spawns in front and you ride it to the bomb drop explosive goes back... :) :)

Dont know if anybody is with me with this 2.

1.Dont give RS disarm tools of any kind(exept inciediary) Then its better to give CE a tool (no grenade, i rather want a tool like wire-cutter etc.)

2.Maybe make a own kit, with this equipment.

I shearched keyword "EOD", "Bomb", "Disarm". Found nothing. EOD-You see, pretty similar to EoD.

BTW. Its not C4, it M113(that includes C4)

Edit:All the links, show people asking about disarm IED, one asked about it dissapear when you die.
So, noen of them are similar. My suggestion here is: Make a way to disarm IED,Grenade traps,Claymore,C4s etc.
And maybe even make an EOD kit.

Im not sure if you were gonna lock this, but anyway:

Maybe give the engineer a smaller explosive that allows them to detonate IED's in place?

All of these were found just with the word "disarm," the first two on the first page.
