Mumble Crashes

Well everyone keeps talking about how great mumble is so i thought i should try and get it set up, though i have to say i never really understood if i should bind keys in mumble to the same keys i use for voip in bf2
call me dumb but it never explains that in the intro to mumble thread on here
however i found this link explain things a lot better

anyway i'm mumbling... ha.....


whenever i load mumble it asks if i want to go though the set up for the first time, i go though intro setup, i then go to the configuration to add additional bindings for like squad leader radio

i then click apply and it crashes. if i reload mumble it asks if i want go though the intro set up, and again when i edit the configuration it crashes

i tried disabling qwave service but that didn't work
i tried both direct sound and the sound card input and still cashes

i get my mumble working at last but still when i change setting i get that crash report.
what if i try to run mumble in xp mode,would be any help?
running pr just with win7.

edit:running in xp mode,it doesnt crash anymore
