In vietnam there were many instances were soldiers moved out to clear an enemy stronghold only to find an abandonned factily with boobytraps and snipers left behind.

If there will be an insurgency mode, this could be reflected by fake cache markers. The fake cache could be an empty cache, that is overrun if 2 soldiers get within 5-20 meters of it, making the fake marker dissapear.
