I write this with a tear in my...not really, but it still saddens me. Ever since reading about PR in PC Powerplay magazine a year ago, i have been addicted to the thing. Unfortunately for me, it just will not work.
No matter what I do, its rare for me to get 5- 10 minutes of gameplay in before a connection drop out. I have tried everything, from updating punkbuster and my router firmware, to turning off windows firewalls. Even that stupid 'Esc' button trick, which doesnt actually work..
SOMETIMES, i will be able to get a decent sized session in, but that is very rare. I play on relatively low ping servers, (300 or less), but it also happense on low ping servers (100 or less)
Can someone PLEASE tell me how to fix this?!
Further specs:
Netgear DG834 v3 router, latest firmware with UNVP on and firewall on (because internet doesn't work with it off)
Latest Punkbuster manual install.
Windows firewall off
AVG free on in background, with all components on.

Did you install the game in the correct order? I always update my pb manually after installing bf2, then applying 1.41, 1.5 then pr.
