Battlefield 2 and PR crash upon start up

Hello, before i explain my problem, i shall post my specs:

Manufacturer: HP-Pavilion
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q9300 @ 2.50GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.5GHz
Memory: 4094MB RAM
Hard Drive: 737 GB
Video Card: NVIDIA Geforce 9800 GT
Monitor: Acer X243w (24")
Sound Card: Luidsprekers (2- USB Audio System)
Speakers/Headphones:
Keyboard: USB-hoofdhub
Mouse: USB-hoofdhub
Operating System: Windows Vista™ Home Premium (6.0, Build 6001) Service Pack 1 (6001.vistasp1_gdr.080917-1612) (upgraded to W7 with fileplanet *cough* *cough*)
Motherboard:
Computer Case: Black HP-Pavilion Home Premium (6.0, Build 6001) Casing

I installed BF2 when my friend told me about PR, it did work, also after installing patch 1.5. When i installed PR 0.91 and i tried to start it up, a black screen appeared, as you it does when something starts up, but then it returns to Desktop. After i installed PR, BF2 doesn't work either. i reinstalled it and tried it again but it didnt make any difference. Help would be appreciated because this problem is frustrating...

Please try to find your answer there.

Some general advices:
Make sure to have BF2 patch to 1.41 before patching with 1.5!
Run PR as admin.
