Al Basrah v2 is a custom map of the official Project Reality "Al Basrah" map made by [R-DEV]duckhunt.
I changed the sky, terrain, static objects, vegetation, added/replaced some buildings, fixed some bugs and relightmapped everything.
Additionally, I created two "real" FOB's to have better defendable places. These area's are on the edges of the map so it doesn't hurt gameplay for insurgents but adds variety for both sides.
Here is a list of the important changes:
- More viewdistance.
- Updated fog and sky settings.
- Relightmapped everything.
- Replaced all Hesco walls with the updated versions.
- New GB main layout
- Extended VCP
- Replaced VCP bunkers and sandbags with Hesco Sangar's
- Terrain and vegetation has been changed alot, so insurgents have more cover.
- Removed landbridges (shallow water). You must use bridges or CSB's!
- The buildings in the "slums" got more walls inside to create smaller rooms.
- The so called "gas station" is now really one.
- North and south construction sites have been replaced with other buildings.
- Added new buildings around i3 (no cache locations)
- Updated combat area
- The highway south of gas station got ramps.
