New Game mode suggestion
Hi, I'm RoAdRa$H from Hardcore Chicago Community.. and I was thinking of a new game mode. AAS and Insurgency rock absolutely I was thinking of making a game mode called
FOB or Supply Chain or Supply lines? Something like that..
Lets just do US and Insurgents for an example.
The main job of this game mode is that US starts from a certain area with many Logies, transports, and Strykers (EOD).. Their objective is to create FOB's at certain marked positions on the map and create bases defending their positions. Like insurgency mode how about these FOB positions change every once in a while like insurgency instead of blowing up these bases the US must round everyone up and head across to another area and setup a FOB. The maps this game play could take place in would best do in a city map. Like you have to drive through the city dodging bullets, IEDs, and Roadblocks to get over and setup your next FOB. The Supply chain comes in with supplies, supplies must be constantly being transported from main base to the marked FOB at the time. So you'd have convoys going through the cities and going to Stationary bases... Say every 20 mins the FOB location changes and you must get up and strategically move to a new FOB area. Kind of how the random placement of Insurgency known and unknowns show up after each destruction. These wouldn't be ordinary Fobs but large scale mobile bases built up.
The insurgents job would be to halt these transportation of supplies and attack these FOB's (or large Scale Mobile Bases). They would have IED's, RPG's and different explosive devices around the cities in order to halt operations. Like the US side with the Sandbag and Barb'd wire roadblocks the Insurgents would get these new abilities and create roadblocks to confuse and ambush the US. Car bombs would be at their disposal and many of them. Used strategically they could be used to break convoys and destroy bases.
Just a Suggestion but all of the people from my community thought this might be a good idea because a lot of these large scale communities like doing certain duties like going off and creating FOB's.
It would be cool to see more IED's in this game mode. I know that it takes someone to create something but think about this idea and build upon your thinking.. I love your mod been playing it ever since it was just a bunch of sounds and deletions of some BF2 things..

Anyway, I love it, It would be great for some more Afghanistan Maps, especially those requiring Helo Air Drops and Such

It would be great to add a time of protection of these FOBs, like when you capture a flag.

If SOMEONE could teach me how to model a game mode... I could do that. And I'd take Operation Archer as an example for that game mode. Maybe Iron Ridge.

i dont know it just sounds kinda poitnless like just going around everywhere putting up fobs i just think its not realistic and does not work what PR gameplay is meant for. Also when a PR supply truck has to move to get supplies when unloading them it will probaly have to take the aromur (that could of got destoyed in the convey) back while losing support at the FOB to protect

You have to construct the FOB's in PREDETERMIND places, not just randomly
I think this would be a fun, kind of reversed Insurgency game mode. The BLUFOR forces could have a bleed if they dont have a certain amount of FOB's up at a certain time, and the Insurgents have a bleed if the BLUFOR set up all their FOB's
