Mic problem, please help

Hey, I have been using the mic on this computer for a long time now, but for some reason whenever I click the "V" button the talk icon thing won't show up and it won't project my voice.
I have tried it on multiple games and multiple games and multiple servers including:
BF2, this one, BFBC2, and a couple others...
I know the mic itself works, because the "Test mic" under options works.
Another odd thing is that it works fine in singleplayer, or when I'm not online. But when I'm online the mic sign or the thing that shows up when you click "V" doesn't show up and won't work.
Really annoying problem, ecspecialy on PR because I don't live without a mice.

And... It is different at least from the other version of PR I used to play, but does the newest version suposed to have far less options on what to build in the "T" button?
I bought and downloaded BFBC2 and it doesn't show anything under the "Q" button either. So maybe it's a problem between downloading things? Idk.

V is default Commander talk, B for Squad chat? V will only work if you've got a CO present.

As SL select radio right click then press T.

B for squad chat? I think I've tried that. (I'll mess with it more though just to see)
"V" still works in singleplayer though, just not online.
And I've also done it with the commander present.

You should take a look at your button setup. Maybe you changed it a long time ago and it's just a different button. But as PLODDITHANLEY mentioned: B is your sq talk and V is CO comm when one is present.

Yeah, I've tried checking if it's still "v" or "b", it is and I've used them both.
It's as if the button doesn't work at all, but it works fine when I'm not playing online which is kinda useless judging by how well the bots listen to orders anyways.

Not able to use VoIP
Did you try pressing tab, right click to activate mouse and click manage, then mute and unmute yourself? That seems to work most of the time.
