PunkbustrB.exe heartbeats stopped/Fixed

I get this error every time I join a server now. I wa splaying last night for about 2 hours and had no problem

I reinstalled PB, checked for updates, and restarted my computer. No luck. I have shut down anything that would interfere with it and still I get that same error.

Also when all your programs are running make sure that Punkbuster A and B are being run one on top of the other. Don't know if it makes sense to you but it works for me.

Well i just installed windows 7 so it cant be from a system overload, none of that seemed to work. I never had a problem on windows XP.

Check Punkbuster B is set to auto re-start.

Open your Control Panel. Go to Administrative Services. Click

on Services while PR is running. Select Punkbuster B, right click, select properties, select the

recovery tab and make sure they all say "Restart the service" for all three dropdowns. You can do

the same for PB A, but generally speaking, it's the B client that stops responding. Any time you

update PB, you may need to re-do this step.
