Huge lag than everything goes black

hi

okay so my problem is..... i was playing on Chicago ins Gaza beach and all of a sudden i had a huge lag ( like a never seen before lag ) and the picture froze and the sound too ( i mean the sound too that the sounds were repeating each other after maybe 0.5 seconds and then a blank white page came up all of a sudden after about 5-6 mins and I pressed ALT + TAB and it put me to the desktop after 2-3 mins and i wasn't been able to do anything... so i pressed CTRL+ALT+DELETE and everything went black and after a minute or so an Error message just popped up and it said i am quoting : "Logon process has failed to create the security options dialog. Failure - Security Options" and it said this so..... i don't know what's going on and i had this experience for four times every time when i played and every time i was able to Enjoy the game like for 15-20 mins and after this time period my computer had those issues that i just mentioned.

1gb Ati Radeon Video card
4 GB of ram
320 HDD
2.53 Ghz's of processor Dual Core

It's is a Sony Vaio FW 465J is i am not mistaking but i know my rig is correct even if the serial number is not

and my PR options are on high i mean the video setting everything on 100% baby

plus... i already reinstalled the PR program...

yes that's a not bad idea i'll try . I have Kaspersky so i think it should be fine.. :S

Boot into safe mode then run the virus scan.

I would suggest malwarebytes since its free.

if scanning doesn't work, reply back.

Is the game added in your firewall exceptions as "safe"?

Does this happen in any of your other games?

Try lowering all of your settings or at least textures / anti-aliasing and see if the same result comes.

Is it just that map?

Have you been able to play? Well yes but only for 25-30 minutes...

Does this happen in any of your other games? I don't have any others i had Prototype but with that didn't happened either

Try lowering all of your settings or at least textures / anti-aliasing and see if the same result comes. that's a good point i'll try... although i have a 4 GB pendirve plugged in and i allowed the memory boost( so it should give me more memory)

Is it just that map? it's with every map..... :S

UPDATE : This thing has nothing to do with the game.... i just realized ( i was browsing the net and then it's just died :S )

Try doing a RAM test, this sounds like a RAM issue if you are getting repeating sounds.

Windows vista / 7 has one included I believe.

There is also online ones and software you can get besides the included ones.

and btw in the safe mode i didn't have this lag problem altough i did'nt allow me to run games ;D

nope it did not allow to run any thing not even a card game which is originally installed!

and my internet connection didn't come up either...
