What was your hardest vBF2 habit to break?
Just like the title says.
When you first joined PR, what vBF2 habit was the hardest/took the longest to overcome?
For me, I guess I'd have to say treating assests as disposable. I still subconciously do it from time to time in PR....but I usually end up running back to where I left the assest to return it soon after I do it.

Well that, and shooting too fast for me. I'm always too eager to shoot even though I know that there's like ~10% I would hit my target.Dude388 wrote:..treating assests as disposable.
I think there's probably to it for me...

For me, the hardest habit to break was probably instant-proning.

Running all the time and therefore ending up alone and exhausted which I still, after some 2 years with pr, do.

jumping over a fence, instead of walking around it followed by crossing an open street without stamina...

DEVIATION
you couldnt just point and shoot you had to take into consideration settle time
... lol after a short wile i got used to it ...
but also .. Bunny hopping when i was out of ammo
normal people would just bunny hop when ever getting shot at .. me .. i stay Shoot and when im out i started hopping like a punk.
i still find my self hopping as a last resort ... Works 50% of the time in PR
depending upon how accurate your opponent is

Way back in the day it was forgetting I didn't have a parachute when I jumped off a building or bridge. Can't remember if that was PR or POE2 but it was the hardest vanilla habit to break.

Been a long time since i've played vanilla but gotta be insta-proning. I actually use my "F" key to go prone to make it quicker

"I love the smell of napalm in the morning. You know, one time we had a hill bombed, for 12 hours. When it was all over, I walked up. We didn't find one of 'em, not one stinkin' dink body. The smell, you know that gasoline smell, the whole hill. Smelled like... victory. Someday this war's gonna end... "

I played vanilla only for a week until I found PR, so I really never even got into "bunny hopping" or "dolphin diving". Getting used to the deviation took some time though.

I bought BF2 just for PR, lol. Planning on doing the same with ARMA II, getting right when PR:A2 comes out.

Dolphin and ofc the practically recoilless instahits. I played some BF2 recently but left in disgust. PR is not a mod anymore it´s whole new game.
