Re: [Static Object] Runwaylights
I would have thought you would have set them up in one object as a template (that was in a realistic setup) to snap onto the runway, or at least a section of runway instead of having every effect placed individually.

1 year ago ( I think ) the DEV said that they are going to remove the destructable runways (and I think they did) so there is nothing to worry about.Alucard wrote:my question is if you blow up the run way wouldn't the light stay in mid air o_0?

Re: [Static Object] Runwaylights
Have you ever tried saving objectsbundles? They dont workSirCommandant wrote:No, you can place each light individually.
But you have the option to save them as a objectbundle once you have made a "lightlayout" that you like.
You can also use them as other lights like a antennatoplight or stuff like that.
Like I said, it would be far better for the mapper and everyone to make a template of a realistic light setup via a single object you can snap to the runway. Placing each light individually is like going around every building in the map and placing glass in each window one by one

Re: [Static Object] Runwaylights
I hate to burst your bubble but runway edge lights are never used during the day unless its really foggy and approach lights may be on during the day but only very dimly. AFAIK there are no night maps in the works either. Even if we had night maps bf2 jets are extremely difficult to fly completely IFR (but possible). The lights may still be good for other stuff though

I know pride made a few airfield models at one point. Take a look at the pictures below.

The colors are way to strong and it would be nicer if u made a white/ligher color in the middle, else than that great!
