Nonstop CTDs. Help Please

Hi I'm new to this forum. I installed pr about last month and it worked fine, then all of a sudden, when I would attempt to load a map, I would instantly get a desktop crash(ctd). I have since then realized that I needed to patch original Bf2 to 1.41, then 1.5. I have done this, and other suggestions including lowering my graphics settings, but to no avail. If someone could give me a solid fix to this problem that I'm sure others are encountering, I would be grateful. -Toki

Uninstall PR (both parts), patches, BF2, and re-install to start with, based on the information you have provided.
I'm presuming here you are all up to date on drivers (including you having researched whether your "latest" drivers are not prone to bugs.

darn..again something I forgot to mention. I had already tried uninstalling/reinstalling bf2, and pr. I heard from someone that after installing bf2, it is necessary to load up a game and play it before downloading pr so I did that as well, then I installed the 2 pr files. Still ctds.
