INS Arresting system with translator

Post by hades198 »

Just a suggestion.
Maybe changing the arresting system on INS from "killing" the civilian to actually arresting the civilian and introducing a new kit that would specialize in translating (interrogation of a kind). The purpose of this kit would be to ask "interrogate" arrested civilians for intel points. Since a lot of cache finding is hit and miss when searching around a suspected cache

This system could be limited to 1 or 2 kits, and would have a high chance of accuracy when gaining intel points since you are only going to have a couple translators and actually arresting a civilian and interrogating him is dangerous enough.

Also this would reduce the usefulness of the civilian kit (civilian jumping on APCs while they are still alive) and they would also increase the chances of the BLUFOR forces as getting a civilian kit on INS would be like BLUFOR dropping a HAT kit out in the open.

Im not suggesting that when a civilian is arrested and is not interrogated by a translator that no intel points are awarded but that when they are interrogated more intel points are received than normal.

So yeah just a suggestion

I think this is a little confusing and unnecessary... The Civilian arrest system works fine now, other than perhaps the Shotgun

translator kit? so will INS have an lawyer kit also? :) just kidding but really think this is very unnecessary. PR is first person shooter - war game at the end. No need to make things that much complicated!

Then we can also have full scale court-martial for all the TKing etc. :/

uhh hades, for one thing in PR all you have to do to understand the enemy is turn on All-English (or whatever language the rest of your PR is in) for audio. I think the arrest system is fine. I don't normally come across POWs anyways.

Well, it's basically a non-lethal round, the way I justify it is if I take a civi down with a shotgun, he's temporarily disabled and so we've moved in and arrested him while he's rolling around the floor cursing.
