Unbelievable Loading Time

I looked at other posts but they confused me. So what I'll do is post my Specs and let you have at it. I have no clue why it takes so long. It takes three minutes for the loading bar to move over 3 pixel colums... and its still at 0%. Anyway, here are the specs:

AMD Phenom(tm) II X4 945 Processor 3.3GHz ea.
8.0 GB RAM
Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium Edition (build 7600), 64-bit
ATI display adapter (0x68BE)
ATI Radeon HD 5750 Card
ATX 12v 2.2 500 WATT Power Supply

This comp cost over 2G's and I got it no more than a week ago. Tell me whats up?

Is it Optimising shaders?

I assume you are speaking about the progress bar in the map loading screen. Please correct if that's not the case.

Before suggesting anything, I'd like to know some basic info about your rig and BF2 & PR setup:
- What's your Windows Experience Index? If you have all the drivers up to date, it should be at least 5.x, probably more.
- What's the processor usage during map load?
- What did you install and in what order? (like BF2, 1.41 & 1.5 patches, PR 0.917 full, etc.)
- Where did you install them?
- Is the game still in the location you installed it into?
- Did you use any compatibility settings during install?
- Do you use compatibility settings with BF2 and/or PR?

=/ ... Erm... I'm not too tech savvy but I can tell you this much. It was playing fine for a bit... Kinda turns off an on, I have everything maxed out. Some games load quickly, some start off at 0% for about 30 seconds and then theres the issue one where it looks like it would take forever. It seems to happen in packages. When I start my computer and play, it's kind of hit or miss. Either every game will take froever to load on this boot or they will all load swiftly on this boot.

Defrag HD often. I use 'smart defrag' it's free and works OK.
Keep 15 to 20% of HD free( unused)
