PR won't start

I use Windows 7. Whenever I attempt to play PR, the PR logo, follow by the Battlefield 2 logo appear. Afterwards, my screen briefly goes black and then returns to my desktop. I have already attempted to run as administrator and to run in XP service pack 2 compatibility mode. When I try to redirect the shortcut's "Start In" field to "xxx/Battlefield 2/", it claims that that is not valid. What should I do? I'm really anxious to play this mod.

have you patched your battlefield 2 to 1.41 and then 1.5 version?
have you try to start pr directly from pr.exe from ea games,battlefield mods pr folder?
