PR crashes and then nothing - HELP pls!!

Hey Guys, - Some help pls...

I've downloaded both parts of PR, installed everything, my BF 2 has been patched, however once i've done everything and click on the shortcut on my desktop:

My screen flickers, goes black,flickers again.....then back to my desktop and nothing happens. I've deleted and re-installed PR 4 times, tried changing the screen resolution,seems like its trying to load but can't....i'm running out of options, would appreciate any suggestions/advice/anything useful.

OS:Vista 64-bit

When in the game press Ctrl-alt-delete. Go to processes and right click on BF2.exe set the priority to high.
Then go to PR again, turn textures from high to medium. That did the trick for me.
