my joystick isn't working properly

i have a logitech attack 3 joystick and every button works including the left and right axis. but my up and down axis, or the pitch isn't working at all. this never happend before, has anyone had this happen or know what to do?

I had the same problems with my gamepad. I resolved this problem by changing the order of binding the axis. I started with pitch, vertical axis and at the end horizontal axis. Somehow this works for me.
