Sprinting bug

Sometimes when i start sprinting and i let go of the sprint key my character cycles between normal running and sprinting.

Can you elaborate a fit further?

There's a few buggy events that occur if the server has a lag spike. Did you check your ping? Did anyone else in the server experience this?

I happens to me as well. The weapon in shaking up and down really fast when it happens (faster then it does when running).

In my case though like you said it only happens on the few laggy maps and due to a bad ping.

Is it the same thing as when you jump up, and upon landing you have that sprinting motion for like 2 seconds?

do you mean the next time you press W , even if you dont double tab the guy sprints?

yes after i sprint the next time i press w my guy starts sprinting

probably just a 'stuck' key

i've had this where after i've pressed shift to sprint, i let go but the key still remains pressed. A quick tap of it tends to sort it out for me.

Because of lagg/low fps. =)
