I have my graphics settings in Project Reality .91 set to high, but to me the graphics look poor. I'm not sure if this is an issue or if PR is supposed to look like this considering I haven't played since PR .5. I have noticed in BF2 that I have dynamic lighting when firing a weapon or when someone else fires a weapon, but in PR I don't seem to get the same effect. Keep in mind that the settings are both set to high.
Here is a video of the lighting on BF2= BF2 lighting test - Xfire Video
and here is one for PR= PR .91 lighting test - Xfire Video
and here are screenshots of the video settings

There is a lot more light in the pr video, the bf2 sample has 2 walls and very little light = more
effects. The screenshots look fine,it is a 5 year old engine despite the number of surgeries

Re: Graphics question/issue
From what I can tell, you're referring to how things light up from the muzzle flash from the guns? I recall seeing a dev post that they removed that muzzle flash from PR because it was highly unrealistic to be portrayed in that way. In your BF2 video, when the MEC guy is shooting at you his whole body lights up as if his gun is a torch on every bullet fired.
Compare that to this video:
The real muzzle flash is indistinguishable in daylight, which is how it is in PR.
I apologize if I misunderstood.
