[0917] Some Fobs are unspawnable.

Even after confirming with other squads members that the buggy FOB is active and spawnable, it does not become available for me to spawn at. I've watched my entire squad happily spawn and be forced to spawn elsewhere.

POST EDIT:
The reason why I can't spawn there is because there is no way to select the buggy FOB. The white dot on the FOB is not visible giving the impression that the FOB is not built or overrun. If you cannot select the FOB you must select another spawn option.

-game mode / layer: Std AAS

the FOB is spawnable, as you said your squadmates were able to spawn there.
sometimes the spawnsslots are taken when you try to spawn - just try to spawn again closing and opening the spawnmenu, sometimes it takes 10 to 15times to get a successful spawn.

It looks like it was overrun or being built. There is no white dot that I can select as spawn point.

A couple of us from the test team witnessed this again recently. Only our SL was unable to spawn as his 'white dot' spawn wasn't rendering. This may be the same known issue, I'm not sure if the reason is known but it's being investigated.

Nope. Never had a spawn marker and clicking plus 'Enter' wouldn't work either.

Anyway, this is being looked at by the PR Team. Thanks for the report. :)

doop-de-doo, do you remember what kit you were using? Were you the Squad Leader or a squad member?

As you've said "I've watched my entire squad happily spawn" it seems like you were SL, just seeking clarification.

It may have been a specialist kit last time it happened.

I'm almost sure I've seen this bug as SL and SM, but this last time, I was SM.

I've seen this bug on every map, as really any kit, squad member and squad leader. Its completely random and I don't think there is a way to reproduce the situation.

ive found you just select the spawn point and spam your enter key until it bloody well lets you spawn...

If I understood correctly, the problem is that it can't be selected. The white selection thingy isn't visible at all. At least that happens to me occasionally, actually a lot more often than anyone I've played with. According to them that is.

I've had several SM do that. I just spawn and make a rally for them.

When it happened to me as a SM I just pressed Enter hundreds of time until it showed up...
Guys, when a new player comes, just answer his question and go on your merry way, instead of going berserk! It's THAT simple! :D

Recap.

Problem:
A FOB can be seen on the map, but the white dot associated with FOBs that are functional is not there. The FOB continuously looks overrun or not built. As the white dot is not visible or can not be selected, you can't use it as a spawn point. Other players are able to spawn on it and the white dot is visible to them.

Solution:
Spam your enter key until the white dot re-appears on the FOB?

I haven't noticed this so much with FB's
But back a couple of versions ago the same situation would occur with rally points.
My whole squad would be able to spawn on a rally point but I couldn't. No white dot was there for me to click on the spawn screen.
Could be related?

No, this solution is for when there IS a white dot, but when you press enter, it doesn't spawn.

For the problem this thread is about, there is no known solution.

i had the exact same problem a couple of times! everyone else were able to spawn at the FOB except me, very frustrating especially when there's no transport and you don't want you SL to waste another rally point. And reopening the spawn menu didn't help.

I get this all the time, I just reopen the spawn menu and click-spam at the fob marker, then try again. Repeat as neccesary.

Seriously.. read the thread. This does not work when there is no white spawn point to select...
