Hey, my System specs are:
C2D E4500 2.2ghz
Geforce 8600gt
2GB RAM
Windows 7 32bit
I defragged my drives, set my page file correctly, cleared any apps running in the background.. but still i cant make a step without huge lag/stuttering on every map. (My settings are 1024×768 around medium/high) However i see people playing this game with the same specs or even weaker smoothly. how do i get rid of that?

Quite strange, At 1024x768 that should run ok.
Try turning down to all low for 1 round and see it still lags, this should determine if it is external issues that are causing it.
Make sure all background task are closed when playing. Also another GB or two of ram is going to make the game load quicker and run smoother.

wat tim270 said...^^
what settings are you running exactly? i play on medium/high @ 1280x1024 (external monitor) with my laptop and its smooth for the most part (but newer maps tend to lag alot more, and if its bad, ill put textures down to medium). i usually do play with textures on high, but when i check my ram usage, it usually gets close to 2gb so yes, you will need more ram if you wanna play at these settings.

Re: Stuttering/lag
Turned textures to medium, and it solved everything. Runs now smooth with 1280×1024-high except textures. Thanks for help. shame the textures are so damn ugly, but at least it works.
